I only have one book about Nirvana written by Michael Azeraad. If anyone knows of any other books that may interest me please let me know. As for the video tapes, I have "MTV Unplugged" and MTV "Nirvana Live Tonight-Sold Out" . I'm willing to buy any other video tapes. They have to be in PAL/SECAM format and have good sound and picture quality.

Here is a brief history remark of the best band of the 90's:
Kurt Donald Cobain was born in 1967 in Aberdeen , a small town near Seattle. When he was 8 years old his parents got a divorce and later on he was kicked out by his mother. He then met Krist Novoselic who was from Croatia. They formed a kind of band and played for some time with various drummers. As they got better they made some live shows and after some time they signed a contract with Sub Pop. Their first record was released in 1989."Bleach" wasn't noticed by many people. In 1991 "Nevermind" came out. Suddenly the whole world knew about Nirvana and everyone was singing along with "Teen Spirit".More than 10,000,000 records were officially sold and Nirvana became famous. "Incesticide" and "In Utero" followed with not as much success for the wide public as "Nevermind".They were great for the real fans of the band though."MTV Unplugged" was the last album to be released while Kurt was still alive. On the 8th of April 1994 Kurt Cobain was found dead from a self-inflicted shotgun wound. All of us should feel responsible for his suicide as it was fame he couldn't stand-(and his stomach ache). The rest of the band ,Krist and Dave, released "From The Muddy Banks Of The Wishkah" which is the last Nirvana album to be released till now.

To Boddah pronounced
Speaking from the tongue of an experienced simpleton who obviously wouldrather be an emasculated, infantile camplainee. This note should be prettyeasy to understand. All the warnings from the punk rock 101 courses over theyears. Since my first introduction to the, shall we say, ethics involved withindependence and the embracement of your community has proven to be very true.I haven't felt the exitement of listening to as well as creating music alongwith reading and writing for too many years now. I feel guilty beyond wordsabout these things. For example when we're backstage and the lights go out andthe manic roar of the crowd begins it doesn't affect me the way in which itdid for Freddy Mercury who seemed to love. (?)relish in the love and adorationfrom the crowd. Which is something I totally admire and envy. The fact is Ican't fool you. Any one of you. It simply isn't fair to you or me. The worstcrime I can think of would be to rip people off by faking it and pretending asif I'm having 100% fun. Sometimes I feel as if I should have a punch in timeclock before I walk out on stage. I've tried everything within my power toappreciate it, (and I do. God, believe me I do, but it's not enough. Iappreciate the fact that I and we have affected and entertained a lot ofpeople. I must be one of those narcissists who only appreciate things whenthey're gone. I'm too sensitive. I need to be slightly numb in order toregain the enthusiasm I once had as a child. On our last three tours I've hada much better appreciation for all the people I've known personally and asfans of our music, but I still can't get over the frustration, the guilt andempathy I have for everyone. There's good in all of us and I think I simplylove people too much. So much that it makes me feel too fucking sad. The sadlittle, sensitive, unappreciative, pisces, Jesus man! Why don't you just enjoyit? I don't know. I have a goddess of a wife who sweats ambition and empathyand a daughter who reminds me too much of what I used to be. Full of love andjoy kissing every person she meets because everyone is good and will do herno harm. And that terrifies me to the point to where I can barely function.I can't stand the thought of Frances becoming the miserable self-destructive,death rocker that I've become. I have it good, very good, and I'm grateful, but since the age of seven I've become hateful towards all humans in general.Only because it seems so easy for people to get along, and have empathy.Empathy! Only because I love and feel for people too much I guess. Thank youall from the pit of my burning nauseous stomach for your letters and concernduring the past years. I'm too much of an erratic, moody baby! I don't havethe passion anymore and so remember, its better to burn out than to fade away.Peace, love, empathy. Kurt Cobain
Frances and Courtney, I'll be at your alter.
Please keep going Courtney
for Frances
for her life which will be so much happier
without me. I Love you. I love you!
